Terms & Conditions
1. THE PROMOTER
The promoter is: Birds Eye Pizza Limited (“Goodfellas”) of IDA Industrial Estate, Monread Road, Naas, Kildare, Republic of Ireland.
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1 The title of the competition is ’Win an overnight stay at either Thorpe Park Resort or Alton Towers Resort'.
2.2 For a chance to win an overnight hotel stay for 4 people, entrants should go to the Goodfella’s website, and submit their details.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition will run from 12:00am on 20th June (the “Opening Date”) to 11:59pm on 31St August 2018 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 11:59pm on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 Enter the competition online by creating an online account and submitting the online entry form provided on [https://www.goodfellaspizzas.com] by Closing Date.
3.4 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK excluding Northern Ireland aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 The prize is one night’s accommodation for up to 4 guests in one standard room in either the Thorpe Park Resort or Alton Towers Hotel (“Attractions”).
The prize also includes breakfast and two day theme park entry for up to 4 guests in one room. The number of competition prize rooms available on any one night are subject to availability. This prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer and is valid until 31st May 2019 excluding secondary ticketed events (e.g. concerts held at the premises). For accommodation purposes only, one guest must be aged 18+. Identification will be required upon check-in. Check-in can be made from 3pm onwards.
5.2 Two prizes are on offer. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The prize is supplied by Merlin Attractions Operations Limited acting for itself and as agent on behalf of the Merlin Entertainments plc (the “Supplier”). The Promoter and/or the Supplier reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The winner will have the choice of either the Thorpe Resort or Alton Towers Hotel. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.5 The prize cannot be used on Attraction closed dates. Check opening times before your visit at www.thorpepark.com or www.altontowers.com.
5.6 Entry to either Attraction will be subject to the terms and conditions of entry, which can be found at the Attraction entrance or website.
5.7 Prizes do not include travel to or from the Attractions, in-room movies and phone calls. All other expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner.
5.8 The terms of conditions of accommodation of the Attractions can be found at www.thorpepark.com/terms-conditions or www.altontowers.com/terms-and-conditions.
5.9 Prizes are non-transferable and not for resale. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
5.10 Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions.
5.11 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
6.1 The winner will be selected at random. The winner of the competition will be announced by Goodfella’s via email on 1 September 2018 (Announcement Date).
6.2 The decision of is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.3 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
7.1 If you are a winner of the prize, you will be contacted by a Brand Manager of the Attractions on behalf of the Promoter in order to confirm your details and make a booking.
7.3 All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 30 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering this promotion and/or taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.
10. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
10.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
10.2 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11.4 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party
11.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
